The National Assocation of Broadcasters is poised to present Alpha Media’s KFOR/1240 (Lincoln) with a Crystal Heritage Award at this year’s NAB Show in April.
The award goes to stations that have won five Crystal Awards, which recognize community service, and KFOR will only be the eighth station to receive it. (KBHP/101.1 Bemidji, MN, is the only other Upper Midwest station to have received a Crystal Heritage Award.)
KFOR carries a News/Talk format and has been rebroadcast on FM translator K277CA/103.3 for the past several years.
