A regional non-profit group is buying the American Family Association’s KKNL/89.3 (Valentine).
Community Public Media, headed by Rick Watts of Iowa City, is buying KKNL for $2,500.
KKNL broadcasts with 250 Watts and signed on in 2010, replacing an AFA translator that had operated on the same frequency.
Community Public Media also owns KPVL/89.1 (Postville, IA).
