Midwest Communications’ KELQ/107.9 (Flandreau-Sioux Falls) is using a backup transmitter after falling ice damaged its primary transmitter.
The damage happened sometime prior to April 15, and the station returned to the air April 17. The power level of the backup transmitter is not immediately known.
KELQ rebroadcasts the Conservative Talk format of KELO/1320 (Sioux Falls), which is also heard on an FM translator in Sioux Falls.
