Bell Media has rolled out “Pure Country” branding and syndicated programming on 13 stations across Canada, including CKXA-FM/101.1 (Brandon).
“Pure Country,” part of iHeartRadio.ca, features a Canada-wide midday show hosted by Shannon Ella and Bobby Bones’ syndicated evening show. Local programming comes from KC in the morning and Tim Black in afternoon drive.
CKXA had been known as “The Farm” since switching to Country in 2005. It competes with Westman Media’s “Q Country” on CKLQ-FM/91.5 and CKLQ/880 and Native Communications’ NCI-FM network, heard in Brandon on CIWM-FM/107.5.
