Flood Broadcasting has temporarily flipped a Norfolk FM translator to Spanish-language COVID-19 information.
K298AG/107.5 is carrying a feed of news and information produced by Flood’s Telemundo Nebraska newsroom. The non-commercial lineup includes information from government, health, and faith leaders.
“Our company’s mission is to bring people and information together. We’re in a unique position as a statewide rural media operation and Nebraska’s only Spanish language broadcast media outlet to help ensure the most accurate information is relayed to those who don’t speak English in Madison County,” said Flood Communications, LLC Founder Mike Flood, in a news release.
The translator had previously rebroadcast “US92” (KUSO/92.7 Albion). It was not immediately clear which station was being used to originate K298AG’s current programming.
Telemundo Nebraska is seen in Norfolk on channel 35.3 of KNEN-LD.
