What Upper Midwest NBC Affiliates Will Air Instead of “30 Rock”

NBC will air a special reunion episode of “30 Rock” on Thursday night, but most Upper Midwest households won’t have access to it from their local affiliate.

TV listings indicate most of the region’s NBC affiliates won’t air the special. Multiple media outlets including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report that it’s over concerns about the amount of time the special will spend promoting NBC’s new streaming platform, Peacock.

Here’s what listings show will be airing instead on many Upper Midwest affiliates:

As of Wednesday evening, TV listings show the “30 Rock” special airing on NBC affiliates in Bismarck, Duluth, Eau Claire, Fargo, Marquette, Ottumwa, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Wausau. However, most of those stations are owned by groups that are pre-empting the show in other markets, so listings may not be up to date.
