Weekly Log: New GM in La Crosse, New Morning Show in Winnipeg

Nexstar has promoted Cory Gylock to the general manager’s office at FOX affiliate WLAX/25.1 (La Crosse). Gylock has been with the station in various sales positions for a decade and was most recently general sales manager. He replaces Judson Beck, who became GM of Nexstar’s stations in Green Bay and Marquette in May.

Current.org reported that Bohdan Zachary is leaving his role as general manager of Milwaukee PBS (WMVS/WMVT).

Meteorologist Katherine Noel has departed Allen Media ABC affiliate WKOW/27 (Madison) for a new job in South Carolina.

Winnipeg’s “Power 97” (CJKR-FM) rearranged its lineup with Jay, Nic and Vic (Jay Richardson, Nicole Welsh, and Vicki Shae) now hosting mornings. Vicki and Jay had previously hosted afternoon drive, which is now hosted by Ed Garcia.

RabbitEars.info lists new low-power TV station KXSH-LD/35.1 (Rochester) as being a Telemundo affiliate with several subchannels. KXSH is owned by SagamoreHill of Minneapolis.
