A Classic Rock “Pirate” has overtaken a Classic Country “Clipper” in Sturgeon Bay.
“The Pirate” is now airing on Mazur LLC’s W277BP/103.3 (Sturgeon Bay) and the HD2 signal of WBDK/96.7 (Algoma). The new playlist includes tracks from the 1970s and `80s.
“The Pirate” is the only Classic Rocker in Door County, competing with rimshot signals from Green Bay and Marinette-Menominee. Classic Country remains available from Midwest’s “Duke FM” (WDKF/99.7 Sturgeon Bay-Green Bay).
Mazur’s other Sturgeon Bay stations run Country, Classic Hits, and Hot Adult Contemporary formats.
