The “Cow Country” format is being heard on more signals in eastern Wisconsin.
Around the beginning of the year, RBH Enterprises’ WCLB/950 and W297CK/107.3 (Sheboygan) dropped their previous “Z107” Hot Adult Contemporary format and began rebroadcasting Galaxie Broadcasting’s “Cow Country,” heard on WGXI/1420 and W253CW/98.5 (Plymouth).
WCLB and WGXI’s coverage areas have large overlap, but the FM translators serve separate areas.
RBH Enterprises is owned by Randal B. Hopper. Galaxie Broadcasting is owned by Stuart A. Muck and David J. Hendrickson.
The change was confirmed in a Jan. 9 post on the “Cow Country” Facebook page, first noted by RadioInsight.
