The Omaha-based “Boomer Radio” has expanded to Lincoln, where it is now heard on Walnut Radio’s K294DJ/106.7.
The HD3 signal of Flood Communications’ KBBX-FM/97.7 (Nebraska City-Omaha) is being used to originate K294DJ’s programming. The change was made in April.
K294DJ had previously relayed Christian station KCRO/660 (Omaha). The translator was moved to Lincoln under the AM Revitalization filing window and had a four-year requirement to rebroadcast KCRO, which expired last year.
The “Boomer” Oldies/Classic Hits format is also heard on an AM station, two FM translators, and a suburban FM signal in the Omaha area.
