Fourth Station Signs On Carrying Kinship’s Spanish-Language Network

Kinship Christian Radio has signed on a fourth station carrying its Spanish-language network, transmitting from the network’s original home in Blue Earth.

KJLW/89.1 (Winnebago) transmits with 6.9kW/108m (class C3) using a directional antenna. It broadcasts from the tower along I-90 in Blue Earth that was used by Kinship’s flagship station, KJLY/104.5 (Blue Earth), before KJLY moved its transmitter closer to Mankato.

The new station joins signals in Mankato and New Ulm that have carried the Spanish-language service for several years and a station in Iowa that signed on in the spring.

Kinship’s English-language service is heard on two dozen FM stations stretching from central Iowa to the Twin Cities metro area.

The network’s headquarters is in Mankato.
