Documents filed with the FCC indicate Madison’s oldest FM translator will start carrying new programming following its sale.
Robert Jamrog’s Fusion Radio LLC is buying W277AE/103.3 from Faith Center for $100,000. RadioInsight reported that Jamrog heads Chicago-based Jamtraxx Media, which develops Dance and Contemporary Hit Radio formats.
W277AE has been on the air since 1996, relaying the Christian programming of WFEN/88.3 (Rockford, IL). An asset purchase agreement filed with the FCC indicates that W277AE can only continue relaying WFEN for up to six months after the sale closes.
The translator is currently licensed for 38 Watts from western Madison, but the FCC filing indicates that the buyer has the right to apply for a facility change.
