CW Affiliation Moving in Eastern South Dakota

Posted on December 18, 2023 by Jon Ellis

The CW affiliation in the Sioux Falls market is changing channels on Jan. 1, 2024.

CW owner Nexstar announced Dec. 18 that the network will move to three of its own stations on that date, including a subchannel of KELO-TV (Sioux Falls). The CW is currently seen on Gray’s KSFY/13.2 (Sioux Falls).

A post on the KELOLAND website says CW will be carried on KELO-TV/11.4 (Sioux Falls), KDLO-TV/3.4 (Florence-Watertown), and KPLO-TV/6.4 (Reliance-Pierre). KELO-TV4 currently carries Ion Mystery.

KELO-TV semi-satellite KCLO (Rapid City) already carries CW on channel 15.2.

Programming plans for KSFY-DT2 have not yet been announced.

KELO-TV will be CW’s third affiliate in Sioux Falls. It was originally on KWSD/36.1 (now KSFL) before moving to KSFY-DT2 in 2012.
