KEYC (Mankato) has returned to DirecTV after a retransmission consent dispute took KEYC’s CBS and FOX channels off the provider for nearly two weeks.
The channels returned on the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 20, just in time for the NFC Championship Game on FOX.
KEYC is owned by United Communications and is the only station in the small Mankato market, with other networks imported from Minneapolis on satellite.
The dispute also affected United’s only other operation, a pair of CBS and FOX affiliates in Watertown, NY.
