New translator W296DL/107.1 (Medford) has signed on carrying “Kickin’ Country,” which originates on WIGM/1490 (Medford).
The 250-Watt FM translator was obtained during one of the AM Revitalization filing window.
WIGM had previously carried CBS Sports; “Kickin’ Country” continues to carry Wisconsin Radio Network news and “The Lutheran Hour” on Sunday morning. The format change was first reported by DX-midAMerica.
WIGM is owned locally by Bradley Dahlvig alongside with “K99” (WKEB/99.1), which carries a mix of Adult Contemporary, Classic Rock, and Country.
