Former Sioux Falls FOX Affiliate Sold to Christian Broadcaster

Posted on February 11, 2021 by Jon Ellis

The former FOX affiliate in the Sioux Falls market is being sold to a Christian broadcaster.

An asset purchase agreement filed with the FCC indicates Radiant Life Ministries is paying $850,000 for KTTW/7 (Sioux Falls) and KTTM/12 (Huron). The stations are currently owned by Sioux Falls-based Independent Communications.

Radiant Life Ministries operates the TCT network. TCT has more than a dozen owned-and-operated stations, including stations in Des Moines and Duluth.

Last November, KTTW’s former FOX lineup moved to channel 46.2 of Gray TV’s KDLT (Sioux Falls). Terms of the FOX affiliation move were not released; Gray separately purchased KTTW’s translators for $1 in a deal that closed Feb. 9.

KTTW/KTTM have been carrying ThisTV since the affiliation change last fall.
