Little Falls Radio’s KFML/94.1 (Little Falls) has transitioned to a full Active Rock format after a decade of running the format at night.
KFML had originally carried an Adult Contemporary format as “FM94,” but since 2010 had been switching to Active Rock from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. as “The Dark.” Social media posts indicate the change to a full Active Rock format as “94 Rocks” happened in mid-April.
“The Dark” continues in the evening, and the syndicated “Free Beer and Hot Wings” morning show was added in mid-May. Local morning shows continue on sister stations “Your Country Q92” (WYRQ/92.1) and News/Talker KLTF/960.
The stations serve an area between St. Cloud and Brainerd, with fringe coverage to both areas. Larger stations from both cities also deliver strong signals to Little Falls.
