Sovereign Communications’ WKNW/1400 (Sault Ste. Marie) has dropped ESPN Radio for syndicated Conservative Talk, branded as “News/Talk 1400.”
The new schedule begins with Michigan Talk Network’s Steve Gruber from 6 to 9, followed by national talkers Wendy Bell from 9 to 12, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton from 12 to 3, and Glenn Beck from 3 to 6.
The Detroit Pistons remain on WKNW as well as a local sports talk show on Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m.
WKNW is one of two AM and four FM stations operated by Sovereign in the market, competing with Rogers Broadcasting’s two stations based in the larger city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, as well as a standalone station on the U.S. side operated by TSE Broadcasting.
