Reports: Sinclair Selling TV Stations in Four Midwest Markets

Sinclair Broadcast Group is reportedly selling TV stations in four Midwestern markets, including Milwaukee.

According to The Desk and the Springfield State Journal-Register, Sinclair is selling the stations to Rincon Broadcasting Group, headed by Todd Parkin. The stations reportedly include:

  • Milwaukee: WVTV (CW 18.1)
  • Kirksville-Ottumwa: KTVO (ABC 3.1, CBS 3.2)
  • Hannibal-Quincy: KHQA (CBS 7.1, ABC 7.2)
  • Springfield, IL: WICS (ABC 20.1) and satellite WICD/15.1 (Danville)

Sinclair has not issued a news release about the sale as of March 12.
