Posted on July 19, 2025July 19, 2025 by Jon Ellis

NRG Media is selling its Spanish-language radio station in the Omaha market.

According to an asset purchase agreement filed with the FCC, Jose Muñoz’s Muñoz Media LLC will pay NRG $400,000 for “La Nueva” KMMQ/1020 (Plattsmouth-Omaha) and K258DC/99.5 (Omaha).

KMMQ transmits with 50kW day and 1.4kW night, using different directional patterns day and night. K258DC transmits with 250W from South Omaha.

Muñoz has no other broadcast interests.

NRG retains three other AM stations and three other FM stations in Omaha.
