“Jett FM” Lands in Grand Island after Christmas Stunting

Posted on January 5, 2026 by Jon Ellis

Legacy Communications has debuted a Contemporary Christian format on K259CZ/99.7 (Grand Island) and KRGI-FM-HD3 after a month of stunting with Christmas music.

“Jett FM” is positioned as “Inspiring & Uplifting.”

The commercial format competes with non-commercial “My Bridge FM” (KROA/95.7 Grand Island) as well as a local translator carrying the national “K-Love” network.

K259CZ/KRGI-FM-HD3 had previously simulcast the Active Rock format of “Thunder 97.7” (KMTY Gibbon), which rimshots Grand Island.

Besides KMTY, Legacy’s Grand Island Family Radio group also includes full-power stations carrying News/Talk, Country, Contemporary Hits, and Classic Rock formats, along with two other translators fed by HD subchannels carrying Regional Mexican and Classic Country.
