Willmar Station Drops Country for Conservative Talk

Posted on November 3, 2019 by Jon Ellis

KDJS/1590 and K289CO/105.7 (Willmar) have dropped Classic Country for Conservative Talk as “FOX News Radio.”

Rush Limbaugh’s show had already been carried on the station for years. Additional details of the new lineup have not been posted to the station’s website.

Concurrent with the change, the seasonal Christmas format heard on KDJS for the past six years instead launched Friday on sister station “97.3 The River” (KRVY Starbuck).

The stations, along with Country outlet “K95.3” (KDJS-FM Willmar), are owned by Tor Ingstad’s Iowa City Broadcasting.
