Nebraska’s Spirit Catholic Radio Signs On Third New Station of 2024

Posted on August 22, 2024August 21, 2024 by Jon Ellis

Nebraska’s Spirit Catholic Radio network has signed on its third new station of the year, its ninth full-power station overall.

KETW/90.5 (Ogallala) transmits with 2.5kW/139m (class A). A dedication and blessing ceremony for the new station was held on Aug. 17.

The sign-on follows the launches of KONL/91.5 (O’Neill) and KVEJ/91.9 (Valentine) earlier this year, while KEJS/88.1 (Sargent) signed on last year. The four stations were granted as a result of a 2020 FCC filing window.

Spirit Catholic Radio, operated by VSS Catholic Communications, is heard on 19 signals total when low-power FM’s and translators are included.

Other Christian radio networks serving Ogallala include the Bott Radio Network, My Bridge Radio, and Radio 74 Internationale.
