Another two new FM signals have signed on in rural parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin as FM translators granted during the AM revitalization effort continue to come online.
In Western Minnesota, Headwaters Media signed on new FM translator K278CX/103.5 (Benson), relaying KBMO/1290. The new 250-Watt translator was granted during the AM revitalization effort. KBMO is operated alongside KSCR/93.5.
Meanwhile, in southwestern Wisconsin, The Robinson Corporation informed the FCC that new FM translator W258DW/99.5 (Seneca) is on the air under program test authority. The 175-Watt translator was granted during the AM revitalization window to relay WPRE/980 (Prairie du Chien).
WPRE’s Classic Hits format is also relayed on W282BU/104.3 (Prairie du Chien), and W258DW adds FM coverage north of Prairie du Chien. Its sister station is WQPC/94.3.
