The University of Jamestown is selling KJKR/88.1 (Jamestown) to Hi-Line Radio Fellowship, which operates a regional Christian network, for $20,000.
Montana-based Hi-Line owns 30 other stations in five states, including one station in Williston, ND. KJKR will be its easternmost station.
The 4kW student-run station signed on in 2012; a spokesperson says the university is selling the station due to curriculum changes in its communications major.
