Pioneer Public Television’s northernmost signal, K49FA-D (Fergus Falls), went off the air March 18 pending a channel change due to the spectrum auction repack.
The PBS station already has FCC approval to move to channel 8 but says in a note to viewers that shipping delays mean the translator will be off the air for four to six weeks.
Pioneer is also seen on KWCM/10.1 (Appleton) and KSMN/20.1 (Worthington), with satellite coverage across the vast Minneapolis and Sioux Falls markets.
