W224EG/92.7 (Madison) has signed on carrying Liberal Talk as “Talk 92.7,” operating as a translator of WTTN/1580 (Columbus).
The new FM signal broadcasts with 250 Watts from Sun Prairie, rimshotting the capital city. WTTN had begun carrying Liberal Talk last year when the owners of WRRD/1510 (Waukesha-Milwaukee) started a local marketing agreement with WTTN/W224EG owner Good Karma Broadcasting.
The “Talk 92.7” lineup features syndicated talkers Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann plus ten hours of Wisconsin-based programming per weekday, including “The Devil’s Advocates Radio” hosted by Dominic Salvia and WRRD majority owner Mike Crute.
Liberal Talk had previously aired in Madison on iHeartMedia’s “92.1 The Mic” from 2004 to 2016.
