Changes at “The Wolf” Amid National Entercom Cuts

Posted on September 10, 2020 by Jon Ellis

Two hosts have been removed from the schedule at Entercom’s “102.9 The Wolf” (KMNB Minneapolis) amid national cuts.

Mandy James, who had been part of the Country station’s morning crew and also hosted Noon to 2 p.m., says she was let go Thursday.

It was a good run. Effective immediately, I am no longer employed with Entercom and 102.9 the Wolf. Thank you for all of your love and support & I can at least say that I made all my radio dreams come true. From playing polka in the cornfields all the way home. Can’t ask for more

Afternoon host Chris “Fish” Shatek was also removed from the The Wolf’s schedule.

RadioInsight reported that Entercom is making cuts at Country and Alternative stations nationwide, affecting mainly program directors and midday/evening talent.

The changes are the latest in industry-wide series of cuts that have come during the COVID-19 economic collapse.
