The latest round of layoffs at iHeartMedia has affected two morning shows in the Twin Cities.
KDWB/101.3 morning executive producer Steve-O LaTart and “Cities 97.1” (KTCZ) morning host Hunter Quinn both announced on social media Monday that they had been let go.
Its happened to a lot of people and now it’s happened to me. I was let go by @1013KDWB and what sucks is the amount of time I gave to this place. I no longer know what this means except I guess I’m starting over.

Very tough day today. It was my last day at Cities 97.1. I had such high hopes coming to the Twin Cities and hosting a morning show, but so many things have changed and my hard work, creativity and ideas are no longer required. 1/2

The cuts were reported by RadioInsight, which is tracking iHeart layoffs around the country. This is the company’s third round of cuts this year.
Entercom, Hubbard, and MPR have also reduced their staffs this year due to the economic slowdown.
