Tegna’s “Twist” Network Launches in Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin

The latest new digital multicast network, Twist, launched April 5 with several affiliates in Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

The new network carries lifestyle and reality shows that end in a “twist.” According to the network’s website, launch affiliates include:

  • Des Moines: 5.5 WOI (Tegna)
  • Madison: 8.6 WZCK-LD (HC2)
  • Milwaukee: 68.9 WIWN (Milwaukee Media)
  • Omaha: 25.7 KQMK-LD (HC2)
  • Quad Cities: 8.5 WQAD (Tegna)
  • Waterloo: 35.5 KFKZ-LD (HC2)

Absent from the list is KARE (Minneapolis), which is among Tegna-owned stations that are not carrying the Tegna-owned network, at least not yet.

Tegna also runs True Crime Network and Quest.
