iHeartMedia has promoted Greg Alexander to the position of Minneapolis Market President.
Alexander joined iHeart Minneapolis in 2012 as Senior Vice President of Sales and added oversight of advertising efforts in Milwaukee, Madison, Eau Claire and Rochester in 2016.
“Greg’s extensive experience qualified him for this role, but more importantly his team lifted him into it, which is a testament to his leadership,” Scott Hopeck, Division President for iHeartMedia, said in a news release.
“This is an incredible opportunity to work with some of the country’s best brands and the industry’s brightest minds,” Alexander said in the news release.
“I look forward to collaborating with the programming, advertising, and operations teams while helping elevate the Minneapolis market,” he said.
Alexander has a degree in broadcast journalism and more than 20 years of experience in radio sales.
iHeart’s Minneapolis group includes five full-power FM stations, four FM translators fed by HD subchannels, and one AM station.
