The following are updates to stories previously reported here and other recent FCC filings and actions:
Iowa
KDAO-CD/45.1 (Marshalltown), which Weigel Broadcasting’s TV-49, Inc. is in the process of buying from MTN Broadcasting, was granted a construction permit to move its transmitter to a site midway between Marshalltown and Des Moines. The planned 1.6kW facility will rimshot the two cities for rooftop antenna viewers.
Meanwhile, DTV America sold construction permits for KEOF-LD/17 (Fort Dodge) and a low-power station in Mississippi to Weigel Broadcasting’s TV-49, Inc. for $50,000. The deal has already closed. KEOF is not on the air and faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline. Fort Dodge is in the Des Moines market.
Lowcountry 34 Media closed on its purchases of future low-power TV stations K24KD-D and K27LD-D (Salix) from Landover 2 LLC on Aug. 5. The stations were also granted modifications to 3kW directional facilities rimshotting Sioux City. They face Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadlines.
Michigan
The FCC approved the sale of future low-power TV station W16EF-D (Marquette) from HC2 Broadcasting to FideliTV, LLC. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline.
The FCC cancelled the construction permits for unbuilt low-power TV stations W32EL-D, W33DS-D, W40DK-D, and W42EL-D (St. Ignace).
Minnesota
The FCC deleted the following construction permits for new low-power TV construction permits that were never built in the decade since they were issued: K27LY-D Albany, K33MH-D Albany, K46LU-D Albany, K30NI-D Albert Lea, K32LB-D Albert Lea, K38OU-D Albert Lea, K44LT-D Albert Lea, K23MH-D Alexandria, K41NC-D Alexandria, K29KM-D Ashby, K35LK-D Ashby, K43OB-D Ashby, K16KK-D Barnesville, K31MH-D Barnesville, K45MN-D Blue Earth, K26MB-D Brainerd, K30MZ-D Brainerd, K41NF-D Brainerd, K20LV-D Brewster, K24KZ-D Brewster, K44LS-D Brewster, K28MV-D Dakota, K36MW-D Dakota, K18KR-D Hewitt, K27MB-D Hewitt, K33MM-D Hewitt, K14PU-D Oakland, K19KB-D Oakland, K34MP-D Oakland, K15JF-D Sauk Centre, K25NH-D Sauk Centre, K49MN-D Sauk Centre, K39MD-D Sherburn, K40NI-D St Charles, K22LG-D Wells, and K28MU-D Wells.
The FCC asked Edge Spectrum for additional information on requests for tolling of the deadlines to move low-power TV stations to lower channels after their previous channels were discontinued in the spectrum repack last year. The FCC has asked Edge to provide detailed accountings of the steps it has taken to construct the facilities, circumstances outside of its control, what construction remains, and a timeline for construction. The stations include K44GH-D (Alexandria, MN), K48KJ-D (Geneva, MN), K47JE-D (Olivia, MN), K47JC-D (Wadena, MN), KHVM-LD (Minneapolis, MN), and K43JQ-D (Bismarck, ND).
The FCC granted Landover 2 LLC future low-power TV station K43OD-D (Brainerd) a move to channel 22 as K22OS-D. It will transmit with 15kW.
My Central Valley, LLC closed on its purchase of future low-power TV station K32OH-D (Duluth) from DTV America on Aug. 6. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline.
The FCC granted Landover 2 LLC future low-power TV station K45MJ-D (Hewitt) a move to channel 36 as K36QL-D. It will transmit from Fergus Falls with 15kW.
The FCC granted Landover 2 LLC future low-power TV stations K43OH-D and K45MO-D (Racine) moves to channel 29 and 30, respectively, with 2kW.
Roseland Broadcasting closed on its purchase of future low-power TV station K35PC-D (Rochester) from DTV America on Aug. 10. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline.
The FCC approved the sale of future low-power TV station K20KW-D (St. Cloud) from DTV America to FideliTV, LLC. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline.
Lowcountry 34 Media, LLC closed on its purchase of future low-power TV station K31LP-D (St. Cloud) from DTV America on July 30. The station faces a January 2022 construction deadline.
Nebraska
DTV America’s KQMK-LD/21 (Omaha) reported that it went silent July 31 due to transmitter problems. The station’s request for special temporary authority to remain silent says its transmission line also needs to be inspected.
North Dakota
The FCC approved the sales of future low-power TV station K14PP-D, K17LT-D, K18NP-D, K32KX-D, and K33ML-D (Fargo) from DTV America to FideliTV, LLC. The stations face Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadlines.
The FCC approved the sale of future low-power TV station K27LN-D (Fargo) from DTV America to Roseland Broadcasting. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline.
Roseland Broadcasting changed the callsign of low-power TV station K15MQ-D (Bismarck) to KXBK-LD. The station informed the FCC on Aug. 17 that it was constructed and ready to sign on, and the FCC granted a license to cover on Aug. 20; its programming is unknown.

Landover 2, LLC applied to move future low-power TV stations to channels within the repacked spectrum: K45LQ-D (Bismarck) to channel 35 with 15kW, K39LK-D (Dickinson) to channel 28 with 15kW, K38OK-D (Minot) to channel 18 with 150 Watts, and K46ME-D (Williston) to channel 20 with 200W.

South Dakota
The FCC approved the sale of future low-power TV station K22OU-D (Reliance) from Landover 2 LLC to Roseland Broadcasting. The station faces a Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadline. K22OU was formerly K40NT-D before the FCC recently approved a channel change.

Landover 2, LLC was granted construction permits to move future low-power TV stations to channels within the repacked spectrum: K38NJ-D (Berseford) to channel 17 as K17PB-D with 15kW, K44KV-D (Elk Point) to channel 16 as K16NY-D with 15kW, and K50MS-D (Sturgis) to channel 32 as K32PA-D with 15kW. It also applied for: K40MR-D (Caputa) to channel 22 with 15kW, K42KU-D (Caputa) to channel 15 with 15kW, K46LO-D (Deadwood) to channel 29 with 15kW, and K48NF-D (Deadwood) to channel 31 with 15kW.
Gray TV reported that KABY-LD/20 (Sioux Falls) returned to the air on August 3 and went silent again on Aug. 9 due to equipment issues. A viewer reported that KABY-LD was relaying KDLT-NBC during its brief time on the air.
Wisconsin
My Central Valley, LLC closed on its purchase of future low-power TV stations W26FD-D (La Crosse) and W34EO-D (Wausau) from DTV America. The stations face Jan. 10, 2022 construction deadlines.
The FCC deleted the following construction permits for new low-power TV construction permits that were never built in the decade since they were issued: W16DL-D (Elk Mound), W25EY-D (Elk Mound), W49DX-D (Merrill), W14DW-D (Tomahawk), W20DN-D (Tomahawk), and W26ED-D (Tomahawk).
