Ed Woloszyn, the general manager of Gray TV’s stations in Mankato, has died after a brief battle with cancer.
Gray TV issued a national news release on Friday mourning Woloszyn’s death, which happened Thursday.
“We are shocked and saddened by Ed’s passing,” Gray Senior Vice President Mike King said in the news release.
“Ed was a wonderful person and someone who cared as much about his colleagues and community as anyone. We will all miss his energy and smile, while we are grateful for the time he spent with us,” King said.
Woloszyn worked at stations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan before joining KEYC in 2016, where he became GM in 2019. He is survived by his wife Amy and two children.
