The station’s announcement says DeRusha will continue to have “a contributing role for station events and special projects” and coverage by the Pioneer Press and the Star Tribune elaborates that DeRusha will be taking a new, yet-to-be-announced job in Minnesota.
My first day at WCCO was April 1, 2003. My last on the anchor desk will be June 23, 2022. I’ve had an unbelievable run and am not totally walking away from here – they’ve asked me to stay as a special correspondent. For now – thank you! pic.twitter.com/6emne6kvgT
