FOX owned-and-operated KMSP/9 (Minneapolis) announced that Hannah Flood has been promoted to morning anchor, while Se Kwon has been hired as a reporter and anchor.
RadioInsight reports that Sam Sansevere has joined the “Chris Carr & Company” morning show on iHeartMedia’s K102 (KEEY/102.1 St. Paul) after the departure of McKaila Poppen.
Ron Fruit did his final morning show on WRCO-FM/100.9 (Richland Center, WI) on Jan. 31 following his sale of the station to Civic Media last year.
Morning news reporter Eric Schubring has retired from WOJB/88.9 (Reserve) after 40 years with the station.
Civic Media announced that its growing Talk network in Wisconsin will feature a weekly hour with Packers Hall of Famer Gilbert Brown on Monday mornings at 8 during the Earl Ingraham show, as well as a Saturday and Sunday noon broadcast of comedian Charlie Berens‘ “Cripescast Podcast.”
Meteorologist Cyle Dickens has joined Gray NBC affiliate KWQC/6 (Davenport).

KARE 11 (Minneapolis) reported the death of sports producer Andy Trowbridge after a brief illness. The 35-year-old had started at the station as an intern 15 years ago. His family is requesting that donations be made to to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund.

Stations
Broadcasting & Cable reports that CBS affiliates owned by most of the major broadcast groups are no longer being carried on streaming service FuboTV after rejecting a deal negotiated by the network. Users still have access to CBS programming, but not local news or syndicated shows. A page on FuboTV’s website indicates that only 3 of the 22 CBS affiliates in the Upper Midwest are still being carried. It also suggests that Rapid City users are now getting CBS programming three hours later than is carried by the local affiliate.
All Access and other national industry media report that many radio stations lost access to hourly ABC and CBS newscasts for multiple days this week due to an outage at distributor Skyview Networks.
