WHBY/1150 (Kimberly-Appleton) reports that its former longtime news director, Ray Wiater, has died at the age of 89. Wiater joined the station in 1973 and worked there for 35 years. He was inducted into the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame in 2002.
