The following are updates to previously-reportedĀ itemsĀ and other recent regulatory filings and actions concerning Upper Midwest broadcast stations. This report is created by the author and is not an official report of the FCC.
Iowa
Des Moines-based St. Gabriel Communications was granted the callsign KDVM for its future station on 89.3 in Mason City. The new callsign required approval from the U.S. Coast Guard since it was previously assigned to the vessel H. T. Harper.
Minnesota
EICB-TV East withdrew its license to cover application for K14QM-D (Duluth). The now-withdrawn application had stated that the future low-power TV station was constructed as authorized in its construction permit.
Nebraska
Alpha Media’s K268DF/101.5 (Lincoln), which relays KFOR/1240, has completed an upgrade from 130 to 250 Watts.
Edge Spectrum withdrew its license to cover application for K36MO-D (Lincoln). The now-withdrawn application had stated that the future low-power TV station was constructed as authorized in its construction permit.
North Dakota
Edge Spectrum and EICB-TV East withdrew their license to cover applications for K34LO-D (Bismarck), K09AAC-D (Fargo), and K10RQ-D (Fargo). The now-withdrawn application had stated that the future low-power TV station was constructed as authorized in its construction permit.
South Dakota
G.I.G. Inc.’s KCPO-LD/26 (Sioux Falls) submitted a license to cover application indicating that it has completed an upgrade from 2.79kW to 5kW.
