Christian broadcaster Kinship Radio has signed on a third signal in its Spanish-language network, with a fourth in the works.
A license to cover application filed with the FCC indicates KJGA/89.7 (Osage, IA) has been constructed as authorized. It uses 25kW/87m (class C3), rimshotting Charles City and also providing fringe coverage of Mason City.
Kinship’s website says KJGA carries its Spanish-language service, which is also heard on KJTS/88.3 (New Ulm, MN) and K296ER/107.1 (Mankato). The website says KJLW/89.1 (Winnebago, MN) will also carry the Spanish network.
Kinship’s longtime English-language network, based at KJLY/104.5 (Blue Earth, MN), has two dozen signals covering an area from central Iowa to parts of the Twin Cities metro area.
