A Minot Christian radio station has gotten a major power boost as it moves from a low-power to a full-power license.
Calvary Chapel Minot’s “The Flock” is now heard on new 100kW station KFLK/88.1 (Minot), having moved from 100-Watt low-power station KFLK-LP/95.9.
The station first reported on its Facebook page in June 17 that the 88.1 facility was active and later noted that it was operating at 50% power until final FCC approval is received. A license to cover application was filed June 18.
KFLK carries Calvary Chapel teaching and preaching programs.
With the full-power station now operational, Calvary Chapel Minot has submitted an application to cancel the KFLK-LP/95.9 license.
