Weekly Log: New Anchor, Other TV Moves in Wisconsin

Posted on December 27, 2024December 26, 2024 by Jon Ellis

FOX O&O WITI/6.1 (Milwaukee) introduced Donovan Long as a new member of its morning news team.

Reporter Marcus Aarsvold has departed Gray NBC affiliate WMTV/15.1 (Madison) for a new job at Scripps NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV/4.1 (Milwaukee).

Meteoroligist Derrek Dalman is moving to the morning and noon shows at Gray NBC affiliate WEAU/13.1 (Eau Claire) as Mike Dandrea departs the station for a job outside the media.

Allen Media’s KIMT (Mason City-Rochester) has added Story Television on channel 3.5 and Catchy Comedy on 3.6.

While the listing of 2024 All-Christmas stations only includes stations that change their playlists for a week or more, it was noted that both “KS95” (KSTP-FM/94.5 St. Paul) and “102.9 The Wolf” (KMNB Minneapolis) went All-Christmas on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with “The Wolf” offering a Country Christmas.
