Posted on August 19, 2019 by Jon Ellis

Here is a roundup of several recent RF channel changes that were made as a result of the FCC’s spectrum auction repack. The industry and regulators have wisely branded these “frequency changes” to avoid viewer confusion, since the stations continue to be seen on the same virtual channel numbers due to PSIP.

  • KSAX/42.1 (Alexandria, MN) moved from 42 to 24
  • KDLT/46.1 (Sioux Falls) moved from 47 to 21
  • KRDK/4.1 (Valley City-Fargo) moved from 38 to 24, but is not yet at full power
  • KMTV/3.1 (Omaha) moved from 45 to 31
  • KXVO/15.1 (Omaha) moved from 38 to 29
  • KPTM/42.1 (Omaha) moved from 43 to 26
  • WACY/32.1 (Appleton-Green Bay) moved from 27 to 36
  • WEUX/48.1 (Chippewa Falls-Eau Claire) moved from 49 to 21
