Legacy Communications has landed another “Jett” in Nebraska carrying a commercial Contemporary Christian format.
As first reported by RadioInsight, Legacy’s KSWN/93.9 (McCook) is now carrying the format, which Legacy also launched last month on K259CZ/99.7 and KRGI-FM-HD3 (Grand Island).
For the past 15 years, KSWN had carried a Contemporary Hits format as “The Zone.” Its Facebook page indicates the new format launched Monday, March 2.
The station continues to carry high school sports following the format change.
“Jett” competes with non-commercial Contemporary Christian network “MyBridge Radio,” heard in McCook on KNGN/1360 and K252FV/98.3.
KSWN’s format change leaves Armada Media Adult Contemporary outlet KICX/96.1 (McCook) as the only Pop station in the area.
