“Ken’s FM 89.1” (KNNZ Hawley-Fargo) is returning to the air with a goal to raise $50,000 by Aug. 31 to sustain continued operation of the station. The station had gone off the air following the death of station founder, president, and operator Ken Bartz last year. It first returned Aug. 18 but a technical issue forced it off the air a short time later; the station hopes to return to the air by the weekend.

North Dakota’s Prairie Public announced that “The Great American Folk Show” will end Aug. 29 after a six-year run on the radio service. The show will be replaced in the Saturday 5 p.m. timeslot by “Sports In America.”

Jessica Williams announced she is no longer with Townsquare Media. RadioInsight reports Williams had voicetracked afternoons for most of the company’s Adult Contemporary stations, including “Y105” (KYBA/105.3 Stewartville-Rochester) and KDAT/104.5 (Cedar Rapids), and was also KYBA’s brand manager.

The Gazette reported on recent cutbacks at iHeartMedia that have left WMT/600 (Cedar Rapids) with no remaining local programming.

Morning co-host Jackie Jacobi has departed Midwest’s KDAL/610 (Duluth).

Michael McIntee is the new general manager of Heartland Signal’s KTNF/950 (St. Louis Park-Minneapolis).

Sports reporter Ashley Washburn is departing Scripps NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV/4 (Milwaukee).

Meanwhile, Shahji Adam announced he is joining TMJ4 as a sports reporter.

The Milwaukee Bucks announced the affiliate roster for this season’s games as the team returns its full season to broadcast TV. “My24” (WVTV-DT2 Milwaukee) had already been announced as the hometown station. Other affiliates will include WBAY/2.3 (Green Bay), WJFW/12.2 (Rhinelander-Wausau), WISC/3.2 (Madison), WKBT/8.2 (La Crosse-Eau Claire), and an affiliate to be announced in Duluth-Superior.

Sinclair has named Carol Kellum vice president and general manager of its Nebraska stations, which include FOX affiliates KPTM/42 (Omaha) and KFXL/50 (Lincoln) and ABC affiliate “NTV” (KHGI/13 Kearney). Kellum replaces John Hannon, who will retire at the end of August.

The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation announced that its gubernatorial debate will take place on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. The debate will be available for all Wisconsin radio and TV stations to carry live or delayed. As previously reported, the WBA’s U.S. Senate debate is set for
