Red River Broadcast Co. NBC affiliate KDLT/46.1 (Sioux Falls) was off the air for much of the week due to a weekend fire at its transmitter site near Rowena.
A viewer reports that the station was back on the air by Saturday morning, but it’s not immediately clear if it’s at full power.
Posts on the station’s Facebook page indicate that KDLT still provided a feed to large cable systems, but the outage affected satellite viewers and smaller cable systems in addition to over-the-air viewers. One post indicates that KDLT’s translators in Pierre and Watertown remain on the air.
Some viewers report that DISH Network substituted KVLY (Fargo) for NBC during the outage.
