Two of the three shareholders of a company that owns a half-dozen stations along the Kansas-Nebraska border are selling their shares in the company.
Once the transaction is complete, Justin Fluke will own 100% of the shares in KNZA, Inc. The company’s stations include KNZA/103.9 (Hiawatha, KS), KMZA/92.1 (Seneca, KS), KAIR-FM/93.7 (Horton, KS), KLZA/101.3 (Falls City, NE), KTNC/1230 (Falls City, NE), and KTNC translator K296HK/107.1 (Falls City, NE).
Fluke currently owns 8% of the company, with Gregory F. Buser owning 51% and the Robert B. Hilton and Katy L. Hilton Trust owning 41%. According to documents filed with the FCC, Buser will receive $1.122 million and the Hilton Trust will receive $691,878 for redeeming their shares.
Fluke has been with the company since 2001 and has been part of the ownership group since 2015, according to his bio.
