Dickinson Radio Station Sold

Posted on October 24, 2021 by Jon Ellis

A southwestern North Dakota radio station is being sold.

Steve Stroud’s Totally Amped LLC is selling “The Mix 105.7” (KDXN South Heart-Dickinson) to William Glass’ Glass Works Broadcasting LLC for $200,000, according to documents filed with the FCC.

A local marketing agreement called for the buyer to take over the station on Nov. 1, but the seller said in a January 2022 amendment that the LMA did not actually take effect.

Glass has no other broadcast interests.

KDXN signed on in 2010 and runs an Adult Contemporary format.

Other radio owners in the Dickinson market are iHeartMedia with two FM’s and one AM, Stephen Marks with two FM’s, and Starrdak with an AM station that has an FM translator.
