Hubbard Radio’s “My Talk 107.1” (KTMY Coon Rapids-Minneapolis-St. Paul) has received a Crystal Radio Award from the National Association of Broadcasters.
The announcement was made Tuesday, April 26, during the NAB Show in Las Vegas. KTMY was the only Upper Midwest station to receive an award this year. Several other regional stations were finalists.
Ten Crystal Radio Awards are issued each year to recognize stations for their year-round commitment to community service. Winners are chosen by judges from the broadcasting industry, community service organizations, and public relations firms.
Sister Hubbard stations “KS95” (KSTP-FM/94.5) and WJJY/106.7 (Brainerd) won Crystal Radio Awards last year.
The new recognition comes just five months after “My Talk” received a Marconi Award for Large Market Station of the Year.
