Audacy Brings “Fan” Back to FM in Milwaukee, Displacing “Hot”

Posted on October 14, 2024October 14, 2024 by Jon Ellis

Audacy has brought “The Fan” back to FM in Milwaukee, displacing a “Hot” Hip-Hop format that had replaced Sports Talk four years ago.

W289CB/105.7 flipped back to a rebroadcast of “The Fan” from WSSP/1250 on Monday, Oct. 14.

With the change, Audacy announced the launch of a new three-hour block of morning programming: “The Pack-A-Day Radio Show” at 8 a.m. followed by Mason Crosby from 9 to 11.

The lineup also includes Jim Rome’s national show from 11 to 2 and “Wisconsin Sports Daily” with Steve “Sparky” Fifer from 2 to 5. The schedule is rounded out with Infinity Sports Radio.

“The Fan” is in a crowded field of Milwaukee sports talk that also includes Good Karma’s “ESPN 94.5” (WKTI), iHeart’s “97.3 The Game” (WRNW), and iHeart’s “The Big 920” (WOKY).

“Hot” had originated on the HD2 signal of WXSS/103.7. The format’s former website now redirects to a national Audacy stream.
