Northern Michigan University PBS station WNMU/13 (Marquette) has debuted a new studio for its local productions.
Gray TV’s WLUC (Marquette) has added Circle on channel 6.4.
The Nebraska Rural Radio Association issued a news release about its pending purchase of KBRY/92.3 (Sargent-Broken Bow), saying it expects the deal to close around April 1. NRRA Chairman Ben Steffen said, “Extending our broadcast reach builds on our goal to serve the entire state of Nebraska with critical news and information. We’re excited to welcome the KBRY team to our broadcast family.”
Flood Communications’ KHAS/1230 (Hastings), which is relayed on K281CW/104.1, has moved to a new studio in the Burlington Center in the center of the city. The station notes that this is just the third studio site in its 83-year history. Its studio was previously at the KICS/1550 tower site on the southeast side of the city, which is also the location of K281CW’s transmitter.
RadioInsight notes that Audacy has placed a number of transmitter site properties into a holding company called Audacy Atlas, including the Coon Rapids tower site of WCCO/830 (Minneapolis). (Only the land has been moved into the holding company, not the WCCO license itself.) Anoka County records show the property on Coon Rapids Boulevard was transferred from Infinity Media Corp. to Audacy Atlas LLC last August. The nearly 24-acre plot, surrounded by housing and retail, has an estimated market value of more than $3 million.
This weekend marks the CW network‘s first broadcast of LIV Golf, the Nexstar-owned network’s first venture into live sports. Friday coverage is online only; broadcast coverage is scheduled for 12 to 5 Central time on Saturday and Sunday.

Hubbard Radio’s new Tom Barnard Morning Show formally launched on Feb. 20, streaming live from 7 to 10 a.m. at tombarnardshow.com and through a standalone app. It’s also available as a download on multiple podcast platforms.
Reporter Lauren Johnson announced she is leaving her job at Hearst CBS affiliate KCCI/8 (Des Moines) and looking for a new adventure outside of the industry.
KCCI is celebrating Steve Karlin‘s 34 years at the station as his March 1 retirement approaches.
