FCC Monitor: KKSO Callsign Returns; Iowa LPFM Application Reinstated

Iowa Public Radio is planning to return the KKSO callsign to the airwaves. Meanwhile, the FCC has reinstated an application for a new LPFM station in Iowa and a South Dakota AM station has again gone silent.

The FCC has determined that a Fargo low-power TV license has expired as a matter of law. In Wisconsin, a Milwaukee group returned a low-power FM license while a Green Bay group was granted a new LPFM.
